Deep Hole Nature Sanctuary, Inc. is a federal 501(c)(3) and NY State nonprofit corporation that owns 17 acres surrounding the “Deep Hole” swimming area on the Peterskill River. Donations and bequests allow us to secure public access, maintain the parking lot on neighboring land, improve signage, and obtain insurance. There are no employees or paid staff at Deep Hole. All board members and other folks assisting the operation are giving their time on a purely volunteer basis.

Under federal and state tax rules, donations to Deep Hole Nature Sanctuary are tax deductible.
